The face looks ok to me! Just the details are giving you trouble? One of the tricks i learned is to actually put down just a touch of highlight first before shadow. Not much just a touch so you can get a good sense of light source and everything, and it helps me make sure the shadows are going to fall in to place right. I don't know if that helps any or not. :/

I think it's the mask that's making it a pain, makes it hard to figure out the proportion and shading.... not sure what though....

Yes, Webber better fix!! @_@ it had some good basic storyline, but I could write a better fanfiction rofl

It has been forever since I've painted any masks, and mine were never half masks, so I am not sure I'd be much help... but as far as the beginnings of it, I think it looks good. smile
