Hello! Im Mog, the 5th Annual Ball's Dark Room host, and now the 6th Annual Balls overall co-host and advertizing head!
This is a pretty straightforeward thing;
An auction of various services to raise money for the 6th Gaia Annual Ball!

We are currently accepting more things to be auctioned off! This is a general auction, so we will take any kind of services, be it bumping, profile-making, art, banner making, RPing, ect. Any donations that you wish to make to the ball, please send to Annual Ball. Bids are open at this time.



June 3, 2008; WAAH! Sorry guys. After a hecktic weekend, Im a bit behind in updating services and adding a few last minute ones. You are still free to bid, but keep in mind that the tables will change a bit as time goes on (dont worry, itll probably be services being added to your table :] )
June 21: whoo, updates! So I went through the pages and added the new bidders. I fell behind because of finals, work, and preparing for a camp, but Im back now :]
July 3: After receiving some news and still being greedy thinking more can bid, I decided to extend the bidding a bit. Especially since I just realized I never really did any contests D: Epic Mog failure, sorry guys. Anyways, I extended bidding to uly 9th, giving winners three days to send in their moneys for their tables.

What is the 6th Annual Ball?
In short, it is a user-run 'ball' done once a year, normally during summer. Each year leadership is passed to a new person, and they run the ball overall, while there are different 'rooms' (stickies) that people can post in. We generally get our own forum. This years theme is "Time" with different rooms set in time periods, and there will be a fun plot (again, user-run) during it all.
No, there will not be free items during it like at most events! There WILL be giveaways and contests. This is a user-run thing. We have to get all our own prizes ect, hence the auction.

Can I submit something to be auctioned?
Sorry, we arent accepting Auction items anymore. However, we are still looking for people to do stuff for giveaways and freebies, so if you are interested in that, feel free to drop me a message!

Do the service providers get any profit?
Nope. ALL of the gold and items go to one place; the ball! It will be used for various contests and giveaways.

How do I bid
Post IN THE THREAD (dont PM me!) just post what table you are bidding on and how much. You can bid in both gold and items, and there is now incriment you have to follow.

Whats with the three 'tables' thing?
Have you ever been to silent auctions, where they put tons of awsome stuff onto tables, and you can bid on all the stuff on the table? If you havent, you know about them now.
This is basically the same concept. Instead of one person having to bid an exhorbitant amount of gold on everything we are offering, we split all the services into three separate mini-auctions, so that way you dont have to pay quite as much for a lot of cool stuff :]

Can I be an affiliate to the ball/auction?
Of course! You can be an overall ball affiliate, or just one to the auction if you would like. Just PM me with your banner (preferably one of those standard ones, the 88x63ish or whatever) and Ill pop you up here.

What kind of things will go on at the ball?
Tons! there will be a user-run plot, time themed contests (hangman for the Wild West room, Cave Painting in the ancient world, etc) along with the Mr. And Mrs. Annual Ball contest, which is a ball-wide avvie contest! There will also be posting of all kinds and more!
