Welcome to my Halloween 2k6 Guide Thread. Lots of things have happened and i felt you should know!

I would Greatly appreciate your assistance with keeping this thread up to date, it's very difficult to have a life and keep up a guide.

Please, feel free to check out every post and leave your comments and feedback. Also, i want this thread to discuss and develop plot ideas, etc. So tell me EVERYTHING you have inside your heads you need to type out about this Halloween Event.

^The Aliens liked it when Gaians would form a triangle around the fountain, they would be more open to talk to us. Here is a picture of the MotherShip scanning people while they are in Triangle Formation - Credit to Denied for the screeny.


^ One of very few screenies with multiple Aliens, they are 09 (top), 12 (left), and 05 (right). Gaians have formed a triangle as well as the ufos! - Credit to Denied and DJ Twissta for this screeny.


^ In the absence of [NPC] alien_ufo_09 some of us met in 09's secret spot and made a 9 to lure him back. i directed it smile


^ While in 9 formation [NPC] alien_ufo_02 joined us, he chased a few bugs, and kind of answered some questions. Then he joind our 9!

Meet The NPC's:


Meet [NPC] Ron Bruise, Gaia's own spinoff of Tom Cruise. He has currently had four looks for his avi. I am missing his tuxedo look. sweatdrop if you have it, please give it to me. GIVEN TO ME BY ABSOLUTE SHADOWS heart heart



Meet [NPC] alien_ufo_01 - [NPC] alien_ufo_12, all twelve ufos showed up on Oct. 19th and have been infiltrating since. They seem to have switched up their look as of Oct. 30th.


Meet [NPC] alien_mothership. We currently know little of mother, but she has a cell phone! rofl She gives the ufos orders, and is suspected to be behind the abductions.


As of Oct. 27th [NPC] alien_ufo_09 has gone missing!


Meet [NPC] alien blarg (01), [NPC] alien narf (02), [NPC] alien zownd (03), [NPC] alien zoit (04), [NPC] alien boing (05), [NPC] alien zooeep (06), [NPC] alien glarg (07), [NPC] alien woing (08.), [NPC] alien flarn (09), and [NPC] alien omph (10). 11, 12, and the mothership are currently unknown. The number next to their name is not actually in the real names, just mearly and indicator to what ufo they were in.


Meet [NPC] Cow. He can be tipped or probed depending if you are a human or an alien.

Also, [NPC] alien invader 1950 - [NPC] alien invader 1999 have showed up in the Halloween Event thread to help Gaians gain items. There are to many to put up images for, but they wear different combinations of commons and say random things.

World Maps:



Early October, Cows and Bulls began to show up all across the World Maps. There are 2 types of white cows, 2 types of brown cows, 1 red bull, and 1 black bull.



Crop Circles began to show up, in the place of Cows and Bulls a few days after the Aliens arrived. A sign left to show of their abduction.


The Cows and Bull then reappeared a few days later in the form of a 19 cow triangle. Its meening of which we do not know. The triangle also looks like a tri-force, or a triangle made of 3 triangles.

Plot Summary:

In Early October, Gaia was intriduced to [NPC] Ron Bruise. He said he heard aliens will come to Gaia. He began making EXTREMELY HAPPY posts and such, as he represents Tom Cruise, the actor. Tom Cruise acted like this when he aired on The Oprah Winfrey Show. Soon after his arrival, Ron created a signature, that is still his signature now, of himself, in space, shooting lightning out of his hands. We do not know for sure of its meening, but we fear it may be something bad. As we stroll later on into the month, a 19 theory came about (explained in later posts). Well, it turned out to be right, as 13 alien NPC's showed up on Oct. 19th of this year. You have already met the NPC's in an earlier posts, and each one seems to have their own personality traits. Many users have talked to them via Towns and have had titalting responses from the NPC's. Though one thing is for certain, they want us to drink Zurg Energy, they are after Gaia's admin and mods, they have also come for milk, or to them, white miracle elixer, and they have come to scan humans as to find out what caused the "Energy Surge" and to know what we taste like. eek The aliens are know as Zurgians, for they are from the planet Zurg and they have shared with us some background of their home planet. They began to abduct cows and bulls in the World Maps, users could tell because a Crop Circle was left in its place. Soon they reappeared in a shape of a triangle, 19 in total. Aliens have also been spotted in forums, introducing the "Hoveround" and leaving secret messages, some seem to be obsessed with tacos and TRIANGLES! In Towns, many Aliens required users to form a Triangle around a fountain before the Alien would answer questions. It seems as if lots of chatter are the downfall of the Aliens aswell. Well, not much has changes, just the aliens answering more questions, until Ron reappeared in Towns. His outfit had changed, more than once in fact. As some of you may know, [NPC] alien_ufo_09 has had a relationship with a gaian, a mod in fact. 09 was discrimated against by all his siblings and the mothership, so he vanished. No one knows if he has run away, or if the other Aliens have taken him away. Sorry, as i have forgot to put this in, but as all of you know, the Aliens scan us! Many people are asking the question "What do the scannings meen?" and here is your answer. The scannnings are the aliens acquiring knowledge of our Intellect, Specs (weight hieght etc.), Power, Influence, and Taste! eek all of these things i have said have been said by multiple aliens, multiple times. Some of the Aliens, if you have noticed, have made seemingly pointless posts/responses. These are actually enctrypted text!

[NPC] alien_ufo_09 has reappeared once. He called a meeting in what is known as the "Letter Galaxy" for all the Believers to attended, sadly i missed it and am still gaining info. on it. Other meetings will occur, and the location shall remain a secret.

From here, the aliens have exited their ufos and showed us their true form and their names. Also, [NPC] Cow has appeared. The event should start anytime soon now. For times refer to here http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=19036061 The release of Red Bino and Zurg energy drinks were the basis of this years event. Zurg takes you from a human to an alien, while Red Bino takes from an alien to a human. If you are human you can Zap aliens and Tip cows. 30 zaps gets you a Tin Foil Hat and 30 tips gets you a Cow Bell. The 19 Theory:

The '19 Theory' is a theory devised on the mathmatical calculations of names, dates, and odd facts. In short, it was a guess of the date at which the aliens were to arrive. The original thread can be found here

Secret Messages:

Many Aliens that have posted, have left small, circumstantial hidden messages. Some are plot developing while others are nonsense. You can spot a hidden message by noticing a big blank white space between or at the end of text. This is the most controversial one i could find and it reads, "you cannot regard this planet as being fenced in and a secure abiding place.... you can never anticipate the unseen good or evil that may come suddenly upon you out of space."

Leak Of Alien Skin:

Some users got an early suprise this year by mistakenly finding the new Alien Skins for us, the regualr users.

How To:

THIS DOESN'T WORK ANYMORE.
If you were a male avi, you had to delete your avatar and create a new one. You had to scroll through the 'skin' options until you reach the alien form.
DO NOT TRY THIS IF YOU HAVE EXPENSIVE HAIR OR YOU WILL LOSE IT. After that, you had to go 'dress up' your avi and save it and thus you are now an Alien.

This led to the downtime of profiles, and avatar saving.

To get the Alien Skin now, simply buy and drink a can of Zurg Energy.

The So Called 'Fountain Glitch':

So you may have noticed that in a few of my screenshots, i am walking on the foutain, or you may have even witnessed it yourself in towns. In order to do this, i didn't hack gaia, nor is it a glitch that i am exploiting. It is mearly a series of timed, percise right clicks while i enter towns. When i do this i can walk on houses, or on the wall when i'm in a house. Sorry if you came here expecting me to tell you how.

-A General Rule of Thumb-

Don't pester people on how to walk freely, they will only get mad and trick you into exiting towns.
