The Magic Valentine Potion
I was strong and now I’m weak,
So a secret potion now I seek,
To help me balance out my life,
To help me shed this inner strife.
What torment makes me whimper deep,
That keeps me nights without much sleep,
That took the strength from muscles strong,
That makes me hear the birdie’s song.
This potion must be magic sweet,
To make me whole, again complete.
So be my potion, Valentine,
Just answer me that you'll be mine.
The scent of sweet perfume makes you stop,
The pink and red petals around you do drop,
A whisper of tune doth ring in your ears,
Dispelling your mind of all of it's fears,
A gentle caress tickles your skin,
A thousand warm feelings inside you do spin,
This moment to you tastes so sweet,
As you look down there's a rose at your feet,
A small card attached contains something written,
You read it aloud and feel very smitten:
"A very happy Valentine's day to you, my dear~"
Heart-shaped chocolates drop into your hand from above, and you catch a fleeting glimpse of a black tail disappearing across the rooftops. "Happy Valentines Day," reaches you as barely a whisper on the wind.
You know that type of s**t
Just don't work on me
Whistlin' and tryin' to Flirt with me
Don't take it personally
'Cause we were never in love
It doesn't really matter
Who you say you are
Singin' out the window
Of your car
Find another girl across the Bar
'Cause L-O-V-E is not what this was.
