Its not different at all. Its pretty much a copy paste of Ranma 1/2.

BUT its an ok series. It could be better - its too slow and vague in certain areas but then too fast and stupid in others. Its all around a confused series. It could use improvement.

When I heard it was like ramna meets sailor moon I was willing to give it a chance. The idea seemed interesting enough. Then it broke down into a high school love drama. Im okay with series where the main character gets abused, like ouran high, tamaki is made fun of near constantly, but you love him for it. in this series if the main character so much as sneezes all the girls get mad at him and abuse him, its just like love hina. and generally if I get mad at a show while watching it, it's time to delete it from my computer and watch something else.

I don't know what to make of it yet. I've had enough of gender bending anime and rather have my fan service actually be a female than just a fake temporary one. Can't call it Ranma 1/2 meets Sailor Moon because I believe Sailor Moon already did that series called Sailor Starlights, yes they look like guys but their magical form they look female. So even after Ranma 1/2 it's been done before. I'll need to see more if the fan service can save it.

You know, that's exactly what I thought when I first heard the title Kampfer. Gotta love us Gundam fans, we're delusional in so many ways.

I've heard of it but I don't really know what to make of it.. It's really funny with the awkward situations but I'm not so sure about the gender bending part.
