why does everyone say the ending sucks? To me the ending made alot of sense, considering they only had 26 episodes to finish it in.
I understand that the manga has alot more plot devolpment, characters, things that happen, etc. but the anime's ending did work with what they did.
Here's how I see it: *SPOILER*
The anime's main theme is the horrid shape our society is in. So, as the show progresses, you see characters that change their view after going through the missions. This is very obvious as main characters die, because they feel their purpose is furfilled at the time of death. Kurono died at the end because he wanted it all to end, he could have kept running and survived, but he realized that the only way to stop the killings is to sacrifice himself, that's why he let's the train hit him head on. Maybe it's just me, but the ending really wrapped up the meaning of the whole show imo.
