Elfen Lied is the bloodiest I've seen. Though I started watching Mnemosyne: Mnemosyne No Musume-tachi. The main character is immortal and she seems to die once every episode. Only watched the first episode, but because of it I'm now afraid of piercings.

Elfen was bloody but it seemed like it was kinda trying too hard to be all dark and violent.
Higurashi was less bloody but it had more weird torture scenes lol I liked it better too heart

I tried to watch Elfen, but it was just too much blood xD It got to the point where it got kinda boring (well, for me) >3> ~~

Techxnolyze ~ turn human body into robot. War between human and Techxnolyzed human. At some episode, I see some soldier wich is techxnolyzed into robot. The only original part was head. In other words cut your head and do implantation to another body... XP
So much blood, mutilation, etc
human lost the war, so many dies...
But you know, that's not the ending...
The ending is really unexpected X)
