Umineko no naku koro ni

Alright, so the first episode of the anticipated Umineko no naku koro ni has come out. I'm a fan of Higurashi and I have played all the current Umineko games that had come out. So as a fan of the game I have a favorable bias on the series considering I already understand everything. However, I watched and thought there might be some parts that might confuse people. I also felt the beginning to be a tad bit rushed but necessary as it's an anime.

So how are your thoughts on this new series made by 07th Expansion? Are you someone who has played the game?

The anime's first episode was a horrible adaption. Hopefully it'll pick up. I've played the games too.
I'll give it until they show some meta world to decide. Although I'll follow it completely anyway, just for clues. They already admitted there were extra clues in the manga or something.

Personally for me, I just wanted to see the how the characters were done artwise and voice actors wise. I'm hoping to see some of the gore scenes and the magic in this though.

The magic might be fun. All of the fantasy stuff will I guess.
The gore will probably look stupid.

I never got further than Chapter two in the game thingy, shame. But my love for Umineko is also biased based on my love for the no naku koro ni series.
I personally like the fact that the first part of the OP is in Italian.

I really want to know how they're going to do Beatrices talking in Red. From the theme song it looks like the room was red so maybe the room will turn red instead? I'm looking forwards to all the expressions. I can't wait for Maria to go all creepy with that smile of hers
