Subs or Dubs?

i prefer watching the japanese animes since they have those funny expressions

usually subs. most of the anime i watch are fansubs, so there is no dub..
however sometimes i like dubs. if i see an anime with the dub first, i tend to like the dub. fushigi yuugi and rayearth and ranma are some i saw with the dub first, so i like the dubs for those ^^;

Depends on the language.
I dont like English dubs at all. But i do like German dubs - they are alot better at it. sweatdrop razz
But mostly i prefer English subs - easier to find and easier to understand. mrgreen

I prefer subtitles for multiple reasons. The first is that I like to read. The second is that dubs often remove many cultural references, which I happen to find quite interesting. The third is that hearing Japanese speech makes me more comfortable with it, which is very useful as a student of Japanese. The fourth is that American accents are almost universally obnoxious and annoying in the context of anime dubs.
