basically ones where i get that warm fuzzy feeling inside or am like 'holy crap omg whats gonna happen next?' or something

I recommend "Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai" or "AnoHana" for short.
This anime gave me a warm fuzzy feeling when I watched it. Hopefully you will too ^^
It's a bit sad though.

I suggest Last Exile, Last Exile: Fam, Silver Wing (Or something like that) Both are good it you watch both, Last Exile first.

what is last exile about?

Its hard to explain, Its a war anime, but its more about flying in races etc. THats Last Exile
LE: Fam The Silver Wing has a different storyline but is basically the same thing.
