After two episodes I've decided this could be entirely amusing, or could turn REALLY, REALLY BAD, REALLY, REALLY FAST.

My skimming through the RAWs of the manga says that this will stay good. Then again, I was only skimming through the RAWs so it's not really trustworthy. =P
Well, I at least know that it gets slashy later on. Incredibly slashy. Just a warning for that.



After watching episode 3 though, I'm kinda worried... The fight scenes weren't as well animated as in episode 1, and Miharu did nothing in this episode. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. By this point in the manga, Miharu already got some character development/his own ninja attacks. But in the anime he's just sitting there being moe. D:

At least Yoite's Kira power came out pretty awesome(though censored; he split a guy in half in the manga but the body remained intact in the anime), and his voice fits... from the 2 short lines we heard.

I love Nabari no Ou! heart Looks like I wasn't the only one counting how many lines Yoite got rofl But the kira was soooooo badass twisted I wonder if there's a Nabari no Ou guild on gaia 'cause I'll totally join heart

I don't really like most of the changes they made in the anime. Like Yoite kicking Raime to the opposite direction from what he did in the manga's pretty OKAYI feel like such a NERD for catching that LOL but Miharu being helpless was worrying since the FIRST techniques he learns is pretty important later on. Maybe he'll learn it later on in the anime?

It sucks that the scanslation is so slow and volume 8 scans are nowhere to be found...*sigh*

I want volume 8 to be scanned badly, too. I've heard so many people going "OMG" about it, so I want to see what happens. Dx Oh well, here's to hoping that Yen Press releases the manga fast. -crosses fingers-

I'd start a Nabari guild, but I'm poor. =/ I have enough gold, but I want to save up for an avvie... But a Nabari guild would be amazing... Gah, I'm torn.

I'm really liking it so far....even though that's what I say about most shounen that I read...

I find it so aswome so far! Gonna have to start reading the manga soon as i can't watch anime for a while now but i loved the 1st 2 eps.......

I agree, the OP song is ADDICTIVE. Anyone seen the PV for it? Rabbit Man, lawl.

Naruto - fail + good animation + better plot + homo lust = Nabari no Ou.
Miharu's ukeness was tripled from the manga to the anime.
And Yoite became 10x more awesome.

Once Yoite becomes one of the more main characters, fangirls will be all over him. I try not to fangirl over bishounen, but...

Just saw episode 4. They didn't waste time on a 5 minute recap for once~!
This episode followed the next 2 chapters of the manga to a T. It was an exact adaptation, absolutely nothing excluded or added. And I'm pretty happy with that. =3

Hopefully we'll see Miharu's powers next episode. They can't hold back on that important bit for forever. >.< Yoite won't have a significant amount of screentime again until episode 6, I think... But after that... let the slash begin. xD

I stumbled upon this anime on veoh while searching for another anime (didn't find the one I was actually looking for, but oh well...). So far, I really like it. I'd have to say one of my favorite characters is Tobari. He's the first character I saw and I recognized his seiyuu immediately: Namikawa Daisuke!! W00T! heart
And then Koutarou was introduced in the anime. He's voiced by Okiayu Ryotaro! blaugh Like OMG so cool!! =D Ooh, now if only Miyano Mamoru, Koyasu Takehito, Miki Shinichiro, Sakurai Takahiro and a few others had roles as well....

This thread! It needs more posters! gonk

Just saw episode 5. This is the first episode that goes farther than what's been translated of the manga, so I was watching the RAW with only a vague idea of what's going on. But from what I did understand... (minor spoilers?)

-There were some slight changes from the manga, such as how the fight took place at Miharu's house instead of at the school. Not too major, but I can't see the reason why they made that change...
-The facts about Raikou, Raimei's older brother, are revealed. Raikou's voice doesn't seem too bad. =D But... oh god, I can just see people complaining about his story being a Naruto ripoff. At least Raikou's story gets resolved within a couple chapters while Naruto is taking, what, 300?
-There's a little scene for the MiharuxRaimei fans this episode, though spoilers:{the manga is leaning heavily in favor of KouichixRaimei right now}
-LOLWUT. Why was Kotarou disguised as an old hobo? Need translations...
-I loved how Kotarou transforms into so many different things to try and beat Tobari-sensei (how the hell did that dragon fit inside the room?), but the only thing that worked was Miharu's moe. I wonder if we can go an episode without Miharu's homo charm? xD

This episode covered 2 chapters of the manga. Next episode will have LOOOTS of Yoite. =3 There's one more chapter until the end of volume 2, so maybe the first chapter of volume 3 will be included... If so, then we'll be seeing Hana, the girl with Tobari-sensei in the ED, soon.
In any case, Yoite will be talking a lot next episode. We finally get to hear his voice in more than random 2-word sentences!
