Dio's voice actor sounds like a little Japanese girl 4laugh Although I like his Japanese voice, I like Joshua Seth's work a lot better. And Alvis sounds a lot more mature in the Japanese. Hmm, I watched the series in English first so its hard for me to say, since I'm really used to how they sound. The only thing I can disagree with you on is Alex's voice, I really liked how they made it sound in the English dub

By the way, Dio's a good singer. Hehe. I love his birthday song in Japanese. I want to be able to quote the whole thing.. I only know the tail end of it. I like how Dio sings the ending: "Dee-aar Diiii-oooooooo!".

Wow I haven't been to this section of the forums since the update... Last Exile is like...one of the best anime ever! heart *Faints* I love it so much! I was planning on watching the whole series for a second time starting tonight! I love the story, characters and background and music and so much more! heart

Yesh, I also liked the conflict between Alister and Tatiana after Claus and her get stuck in the desert. Actually I also liked the whole Lavie vs. Tatiana story. It was very interesting.

I agree, it is a very good anime in pretty much every aspect. The artwork, story, characters, all of its great. And I think you should re-watch the series, its just as good the second time whee

As far as I can tell, no he didn't. You dont actually see him after his "end" but you do hear his voice when the Silvana lifts off in the last episode.

Yes.. hearing his voice had me believe that... but I still wasn't 100% sure. Thank you for your input though... it helps me believe that more than I did before. I was so sad when I saw that... It seems that of my top 5 favorites... only 1 of them made it through to the end...which made me sad.
