I wonder why Delphine ever abused the use of Exile. If she hated the land dwellers she could have killed them all off a long time ago. Does she love toying with people's lives that much? Or did she just not understand how to use it?

I think she takes pleasure in others' pain. Basically she just likes to toy with everything. Remember when she was in her bath, splashed water, and said, "What would be the fun in that?" Although I can't remember the exact circumstance, she was in a position for an easy victory, and shirked it off for something 'more fun', more dangerous.

Keep saying it all you want! I hate her as well. I hate people like her. She.....should have died so much earlier. So many people would have been spared if Alex would have gotten to her when she was in the elevator. Dang Cicada for being such a good fighter. Love him and everything but if he didn't make it over there in time she would have been dead and perhaps Cicada wouldn't have died himself!

Even though you both hate her, she was a very good character. She was an extremest among eccentrics, perfect to lead the guild. I would hate her as a person, but as a character I think she is very very good. Besides, if Delphine died in the elevator the anime would have gotten very boring. The plot would have ended right there. To be completely honest with you, I consider her one of the best suited characters in the entire anime. She is the pinnacle of perfection.

She is the Voldemort, The Sith Lord, the Dante, the Frieza and the Sigma of Last Exile.

Those are people who are excellent evil rulers and organization heads of the fantasy world.

People who don't care for others, people who only care for their work and to bring sorrow to others.

If she did not exist, there would be no Last Exile.

Delphine would have died in the elevator, then everyone would celebrate and the end credits would role with no next episode preview.

Dio would never of been taken back to the Guild, Claus would never of gone there, Dio would never have gone insane and last, but not least, Exile would never of been renewed.

She was the catalyst of Last Exile.

But yeah, it is pretty good, give or take it being a bit on the large size (a smaller version would be good too), but I am not Exiled Poet, so I can't really judge what other people will think.

Of course, of course! You're right. But I'm not saying I'd change the storyline of Last Exile. Not at all. It's effing perfect how it is now. But that doesn't mean one can't have some emotion about it, does it? That's part of what makes an anime so awesome, if it brings out emotions. I wouldn't change the fact that the Maestro is so perfectly evil. It's incredible that she makes me hate her so; only she, and Flay from Gundam Seed, bring out my hatred like that.

and yes, I can make it smaller, very easily actually. It was even bigger than that, I made it smaller before posting but wanted to keep it big enough to tell the detail. I was gonna upload a smaller one with better quality (redoing the text is first in line). Thanks for all your input though =D

[Oblivious Mischief]

Watched the anime and actually loved it, especially the first episode which was labelled by most critics as "boring" or "dragging" or "slow". The concept and the story is beautiful.

My disappointments:

• Dio's death. I do keep a look out for senseless deaths, but that was just plain senseless. I mean look at Alex's death, it was sweet and senseless, beautiful even! Seriously, Dio deserved a better death... Perhaps a more dramatic one.
  
  
• Could have been more. I liked it when it was slow in pace. Their attention to detail and their attempt to explain the culture of the people is great. But as the anime came closer to the end, the pace went fast... To a point that it seemed that they just want to end the story without really putting much effort into it.

In the end though, I still loved it. My favorite character is Mullin Shetland, that lucky little b*****d.

Anyways, I read only the front and the end of the thread cause I'm lazy like that. I'm putting in The Mysteria for this thread. if it's already posted, then I missed it, sorry. But if not, I'm sure this is a good treat for everyone. (got it from wiki so credit goes there)

Here is one I just made, it took me awhile cause I suck with PS. I also added some blurs to the "Official Guild" part (I know, It was supposed to say "Thread" but I got carried away and it slipped my mind, this will eventually be a guild anyways).

I could help buy the guild, I do have the gold for it. 23K to be exact.
