I went to the one in L.A I decided to go the first day and it was GREAT! It was so AWESOME!! I greatly enjoyed myself and I bought alot of little things.

The link says "Dio", but I'm sure you can tell it's actually Lucciola.
This is a picture a friend of mine sent me.
He said he found it randomly.
It looks like a still from a movie.
I've looked online and there were rumors of a live-action adaption,
but that was in 2005, and there hasn't been anything since.
As far as I know.
Does anyone know anything about this,
or do you think it's just a really well done cosplay picture,
that was made to look like a still...?
xD

I'm hoping it's an actual movie.
However, if so, I hope they do justice to the anime.
I'm not sure if you could top the anime.
It'd probably pale in comparison.
EDIT
*gasps* OMG, that is such a freaking awesome picture! It would be awesome if Last Exile was made into a movie.

Found this info on Wikipedia:
On February 11, 2005, a report on Anime News Network mentioned a possible live-action Last Exile film. The report was based on a blog post by Patrick Macias, author of several books on Japanese pop culture and anime and the writer for Animerica, which noted that while he was attending the Tokyo International Anime Fair, a Gonzo employee suggested that an unnamed New Line Cinema producer was interested in doing a live-action adaptation of the series.[42][43] On July 8, 2009, a concept art image was leaked on Internet but was removed at the request of the filmmakers.
OMGGGGG~
So they're actually making it?
Holy awesomesauce.
Last Exile movie ftw.

Holy cow....that picture is sweet! I'm hesitant about a live action, but I'd be a good fanatic and watch it (and possibly secretly molesty it) *ahem*

That's an amazing picture...I keep staring at it.
But it is possible that they canceled the movie... D8 I'd still really love it if they made it into a live-action movie. Yeah, it'd probably not be as good as the anime and yeah, it'll make a lot of people angry, but it'd still be interesting I think. Live actions are usually jacked, but there is a chance that they could make it work. They'd have to cut a lot of stuff out of the movie though... gonk

If they do the live action movie, I hope they decide to do part of the series, and not condense it into one. Or they could further one area in the anime that they didn't, which I had two in my head, but now I don't remember where they are.... sweatdrop
I think they should mostly center the story around the main part with Alex trying to get to Exile. They could probably drop smaller parts like the vanship race in the very beginning or at least cut it extremely short just to get Ralph's bro (Michael was it?) and Alvis into it. They don't have very much that doesn't add to the plot though, so it's kind of tough. The stuff with Clause and Tatiana in the desert could probably be taken out because I don't think that contributes anything at all to the story.

If they are making a live action movie I hope they explain more of the back story better than the anime did. That was one of the things that bothered me the first time I watched LE. I had to get online and look up LE to find out what was going on. Not that it made me love the series any less. xd I still don't get the whole connection between Alvis, and Exile though. redface
I think basically, Alvis is the last person in a bloodline of people that had the ability to activate Exile.

Yeah, otherwise, they could've gotten someone else in the Hamilton family with the certain trait in their blood to active Exile. Alvis was essentially humanities last hope. That's a lot of pressure on a 10 year old.
