I really enjoy looking at Range Murata's art. There's a series he is drawing called Robots, or some such and it looks pretty, but it's expensive and has the EXPLICIT CONTENT warning. eek

Interesting point about wanting to know more about the war going on between Disith and Anatoray.
I'm kinda interested in the lively hood of the people, the daily routines, and government. But my guess as to why the two countries rage war is for resources. I'm sure all of you are aware that the planet they are living on is a created world, Earth was their original home. The thing that got me the most why was it in a shape of an hour glass? If it follows that logic then why wasn't Anatoray frozen over and Disith dry as a bone? confused

Any opinions on my LE picture?

I wonder about the hour glass shape of the world...I kinda like it....^_^ It hit me after the second or third time watching the anime that the small part was where the grand stream was.... sweatdrop

I thought I should mention it here. FUNimation license rescued Last Exile at the end of last year, and they've got a set coming out May 5. Here's the cover art:



I've already got the series, but I just started loaning the DVDs to a friend of mine and she's looking forward to this set coming out.

The Range Murata set is gorgeous.

I got the LE boxset because I'm a limited/special edition whore. XD



The box is hideous, but the Alvis figure that came with the set more than makes up for it. heart The DVDs also have some inserts with Range Murata's art on them, so it's not quite as bad.
