Damn, you know your anime. I can't wait to see HQ greed island if that's the case. it was such a badass arc. Can't wait to see Gohn's arm burned off.

Haha, well thanks, but I did looked it up to make sure, but I don't think the cancellation of one series will effect other from a different issue. And Weekly Jump, I kinda know how it works. A lot of their longer running series is based on popularity and Hunter X Hunter has always been a really highly rated series in the magazine.

Eh, yeah seeing both hands blown off, lol. I really want to see more of Hisoka. Too bad his voice isn't as creepy as it used to be -.-

His best performance came when they were playing volleyball, lmao. I still remember him gyrating.

It's so much...you're better off reading the manga starting at the point where they run in to Kite. the next arc though can be a tire to read but if you get through it to the chapter 300s it picks up pretty good. So far it has been a seat gripper each week...

Not really feeling the new HxH just yet.

They cut out most of the fun parts / filler just to breeze over what we already know ( those that have seen it before ) and bore me to death, hoping it picks up soon.

Initially they blasted through the episodes then started to slow down to explain things, heck in the first episodes you don't really hear much about the characters. Didn't really "feel" like Gon at first, with the speed of the series, you don't get to see his determination or much personality.

I'm very surprised about them having a recap episode, sure thats typical of 26 episode or long running series but still.

Now I know they remade the series to bring in a new generation (aswell as older fans) but seems strange,I'd have to say the older art style was alot better than the slightly chibi-fied characters. Least its not the same what they did in Saber Marionette ^^;

Really hope they reach the Chimera Ant arc and continue from there ninja

I'm loving the remake of HxH! Fresh blast of color and graphics, only 1 filler so far thank god! I really look forward to watching it every week! =p

I'm just excited to see anything for HxH, period. It's hands down one of the most interesting shonen series I've ever managed to sink my teeth into. When it went into hiatus a few years back it felt like something really poignant dropped out of the anime/manga world and there was this big gaping maw where it should've been. It's rare you find a series with a story that wraps you up in it so well. Considering that the original anime series branched off on a tangent several times, I'm rather happy to be seeing an adaption that is as close to the manga as it can be, so I'm not complaining about the fast pacing. All evidence points to a long haul in the making anyways, so a fast pace may be more beneficiary.
