How did you get into Anime?

I remember the time when I watched and read Inuyasha: I was in the third grade.
Had no feelings about anime or manga and somehow started reading manga in the fifth grade. Forgot the rest .__ .

Well it actually streamed from my love of dolls. I collected Pullips and decided to get a Pullip "Souseiseki" from a collab between Jun Planning (the doll company) and the anime Rozen Maiden. I thought it might be fun to see who she was in a show form and I had been intrigued by anime before so I decided to watch it.

And so begins the beginning of the end.

I would say digimon but at the time I didn't know it was anime. I wasn't fully aware of it until toonami.

I got into anime when I was in the 5th grade wait no 4th grade. As soon as I got into 5h grade I was a japanese artist. My first anime I have ever watched was Bleach, Inuyasha, and.. that's about it. Ever since I got into 6th grade I got Fios and started watching funimation all the way to this very day. When, a good anime show doesn't come on I watch it online and start makign anime novels on this website that is shockingly popular. I heart you anime!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anime ForEVZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Probably Pokemon or Digimon was my first anime. I can blame Toonami for me getting into anime. lol! Not that it's a bad thing. XD

I think it had to be watching Sailormoon and Pokemon when I was little. I really liked how pretty the characters looked compared to most of the cartoons at the time.

I watched a lot of Sailor Moon and Cardcaptors when I was younger, but it was actually the manga "Pita-ten" that got me watching it.

Dragon Ball Video games. I mean, come on? xD Then i went for Naruto video games aaaand it all hit me.

There was always anime translated into my native language where I lived on local TV so...you know. Very early age xD

My father got me into Miyzaki films at a young age and then I was part of the Toonami generation. xd Along with seeing Cowboy Bebop on the lineup of Adult Swim's premiere-- it was pretty much over from that point on. An anime fan I had become!
