Help me find this anime?

[Disciple Of Dante]

Okay back when I was a kid (between 12 and 5 years ago) There was an anime that would appear on adult swim right before Inuyasha (or was it after). The animes protagonist was a cyborg/android. I can not remember his name but he was rare. He was the only anime in the series to have a conscience chip. I remember his only wish being to be human. At the end of the anime an evil Cyborg/mad scientist (I forget which) put a chip into his head that made him desire to do evil, in the hopes of controlling him like he was the protagonists allies. However what it did was gave the protagonist free will, thus making him human. He killed his former allies and then defeated the main bad guy saying "I am now human. Inside me will always be a struggle between good and evil." Or something along those lines. I can not remember the title and I have only seen a couple episodes. Anyone recognize this anime?

xxxxKikaider perhaps? I remember it coming on [as] a long time ago. I vaguely remember what it is about, but I do know that it involved an android.

May be it I only saw a couple episodes. I only remember that one of the androids was a female and pink and then the main character and the other character were male. I think Kikaider may have been it but I would have to watch the last episode to be sure.

There are a million anime's with a guy with white hair. what channel was it? That will narrow the list slightly. Was it fantasy or sci-fi?

Not sure. I was like 9 then. It looks familiar though. Did he have to kill two of his friends in the end before killing the main bad guy?
