So what is the impression of Gundam Dynasty Warriors 3

It feels like easy mode when playing as Amuro in the Nu Gundam. And Kou can't do anything, which isn't a surprise for a rookie.

It's definitely better than the first two games, no doubt about that. And the friendship system is much, much less frustrating than it was in DWG2, thankfully. I also think the new cell-shaded graphics look quite nice.
My only complaint is that unlocking all of the mobile suits is almost too easy now. Heck, after completing about three missions the first day I had about 70% of the MS gallery finished, and about 60% ready for me to purchase. Of course I did play online a few times.
And it bugs me that they didn't get some of the original US voice actors from the series and the previous game. I mean, some of the voices just sound weird... Like Kamille, who sounds much too... girly now. And Puru doesn't sound as cute as she did in DWG2. Not to mention Master Asia... Ugh, don't even get me started on his new voice.

Really, I think they gave Loran a voice way too girly. They do know he's really a guy right?

True, but in the series he does dress up as a girl named Laura Rolla sometimes, and I believe that's also an alternate outfit in the game. At least it was in the previous two games.
It would've been kind of creepy if Loran had a really deep voice, even when dressed up as a girl. Heh heh. razz
Even his appearance is kind of girly. Before I watched Turn A Gundam I thought Loran was a girl... Heh.

Well that's kind of why Guin Sard Lineford is the one that starts calling Loran Laura. He seems more like a Laura to Lineford.

Ironically Tomino wanted a female to be the main character of Turn A Gundam, Sunrise had other ideas. So I guess making Loran such an feminine looking male was Tomino's way to get some of his plans in the series.
So anything on if the 00 movie is coming here or not?

I'm not going to be buying any more of Gundam Unicorn until Bandai releases a set, or at least in the future when I can find the discs cheaper. I bought volume one on Blu-ray when it came out, and that stupid thing was expensive. I'm not going to pay that much for every single episode. ><;;

And it seems there's a new Gundam online game in the works. Though from the looks of it, it's not really an MMO per se, just an online team-based shooter. I think Bandai gave up on the whole open-world MMO idea after UCGO flopped.
I'll be looking for more information on it but so far it doesn't look all that interesting, which is a shame, I would love a decent Gundam MMO. A real MMO, and something better than UCGO...

I must admit that it's looking like nothing more than SD Gundam Capsule Fighter, but without the super-deformed part, focusing on the One Year War, and larger battlefields. Meh...

I didn't bother with the Blu-ray, not when Vol. 1 on DVD had two episodes on it. And at a much better price.

I just wanted it 'cause it was Gundam on Blu-ray-- finally! But $60+ for one episode and no bonus features? Really? I was suckered into buying the first volume, but I refuse to buy any more. I wont be buying any more Gundam Unicorn Blu-ray or DVD until a box set comes out or once it's been out for a while in the US and prices come down, even used.
I'm still waiting to buy Gundam 00 on DVD. I've been spoiled with complete sets and loathe the idea of buying individuals discs lately... xd
I used to buy individual disc volumes back when that was pretty much the only way to get a series. I can't believe how expensive it was to buy them separately... It was around $300-400 just to finish a one-season series, double that if the series had more than one season.

Thank you, Bandai. Finally! xd

Now, where's my HGUC 1/144 GM Cannon, Guncannon II, Zaku Cannon, Agguy, Zogock and Full Armor Gundam? You know, the ones I've been begging you for for years? I've got the old glue-and-paint kits, but they're just not enough, dang it.
Am I the only one who thinks Anaheim Electronics in the UC era is totally criminal? They've been supplying mechs to either Zeon and the Earth Federation since the conflict began in 0079. They're like the Rockefeller Foundation infamous for funding both the allies and axis of WW2. They're profiteering and capitalizing on the ongoing Zeon - E.F.F conflict and continue to arm either side.

That isn't much of a surprise as young boys are usually voiced by women. But there's something more coarse in Romi's voice as Loran compared to most Japanese female voice actors. Although that's likely because most people expect a certain tone from anime female voices. Strange to see she also did the voice for Nicol in Seed.

'Tis the way of the world. This has happened numerous times throughout history-- both real and fictional-- and I can't see it ending any time soon. If someone thinks that they can make some quick cash somewhere they'll do it.

'Course, in the case of AE and the Zeon, they weren't the only suppliers. There was also Zeonic Company and Zimmad Company, so at least they had a little competition. razz
