I remembered watching the anime on Adult Swim a couple of years back. The anime got me hooked even though it showed up at like 12:30. I always happen to fall asleep into half of the episode. It is amazingly great, it's about top of my life for a 13 episodes anime. Though I probably haven't seen more than 7 episodes.

Yea, I'm enjoying it so much more the second time around! I'm looking forward to the 3rd time as well! lol I want to try to buy this on DVD when I can afford it! I think it is a really amazing anime series!

It was expensive when i bought the series, but that's the price yew pay for owning the great ones i suppose.. Life is far too short for me to be concerned with simple things like overpriced classics.. lol Also, i was thinking.. not very hard but.. There are many memorable lines and scenes from this show, but my all time favorite quote has to come from the Chief, Officer Ikari.. when he says.. something along the lines of.. ".. and, even if this is the wrong world.. somewhere there must be something that is right, and as long as we can believe in that, we can go on living.." That's the one.. I find it to be very inspirational, and perhaps even above that, a motto for my own continued survival.. burning_eyes

I'm actually a huge fan of this show. heart I own the first two dvds and the cd, and if I could, I'd own a Maromi plushie. The show really got me when I started to understand how everyone was connected to Tsukiko and the other characters in some way.

The show is one of my personal favorites, and no matter how hard I try, I cannot seem to find anyone else who watches it. Or even roleplays it for that matter.

I know what you mean about not being able to find other people who are fans of this show, and being able to own a maromi plush doll.. lol ^_^ Once you see the series in completion, all that meant for me was i wanting to just watch it again, and then a third time.. Just trying to follow the story and put all the pieces and characters together to see how they all fit in place and connect with each other.. It is a very strange show, but initially that's what hooked me more than anything.. I watched it because it was just so weird, and i couldn't even figure it out, but now understanding it more, that makes the series even more enjoyable to watch i think.. Only 13 episodes, and yet, i can watch it again and notice something new each time..

God that was such a great series, I should watch it again. I dont realy have a favorite ep, but my a few of my favorite scenes are when Lil' Sluger is skating behind the guy in his car and when the detectives wife (sorry cant remember anyones name sweatdrop ) is talking to Lil' Sluger and he is freakin out cause she wont take "his" way out

Just imagine it.. You're doing 80 on the highway at night, pouring rain falling down.. Your own paranoid thoughts and fears closing in around you.. Your heart beating faster, and faster, your palms sweating, and Lil' Slugger smiling at you in the rear view mirror as he skates up behind the car.. And, then..

He's in the back seat!! AAAAAHHHHH!! lol burning_eyes

I love that episode, Mellow Maromi.. An anime episode, about making anime..
