Gaara is not my main current problem right now (Sasuke/Naruto predestination stuff is).
However, I am curious why Gaara still has black marks around his eyes in the current manga..... sweatdrop . I thought it was lack of sleep, but I guess it really is make-up. How emo.

its not make up, he`s had no sleep for nearly 16 years, if u burned yourself, do u think the scar would disappear after taking away the cause? nah its permanent, plus he looks cooler with it. and no emo haters -.-

No, I imagine that after so many years of insomnia issues even after Shukaku(?) was extracted (I cried while reading the manga when Gaara died lol) from Gaara's body he still can't sleep well. And according to wikipedia every demon host gets a feature from their beast. Like Naruto has whiskers on his face to represent the fox and Gaara has the rings around his eyes to represent Shukaku(sp???).

You know what I thought would disappear after Shukaku was extracted? His 'Love' mark.

shukaku`s spelt right for a start, and you`re not the only one who cried lol. but his love tattoo was engraved(poor gaara crying ) so it`s there forever.
