I'm not disappointed. At least hes been screened more than neji, tenten, chouji etc.
Hes also been playing a vital role in arcs such as the Save Gaara arc and the destruction of the leaf.

However, I am curious why Gaara still has black marks around his eyes in the current manga..... sweatdrop . I thought it was lack of sleep, but I guess it really is make-up. How emo.

its not make up, he`s had no sleep for nearly 16 years, if u burned yourself, do u think the scar would disappear after taking away the cause? nah its permanent, plus he looks cooler with it. and no emo haters -.-

Yes, mine would disappear after taking away the cause. Anyway the Manga now is more focused on Naruto/Sasuke. But you might be right, for a main protagonist Gaara should have more screen time, but im pretty sure he will within the next few chapters.

akatsuki for one reason... itachi is in it, also they cause the deaths of several main characters and i think they probably made the most impact overall, the members are all unique in their own ways... the downfall is that its led by madara uchicha.... erm tobi was cool and funny but they ruined it by making him madara... i guess it was for a reason and it was unexpected but to be honest it was a let down for me.... anyway itachi ftw :3

burn marks r permanent,they dont go away, thats why they brand animals.
