Grave of the fireflies(anime movie)...its so touching and inspiring...but sad ending(MAJORELY SAD)...actually the whole movie is basically negative

Naruto and Naruto Shippuden is the only anime out there that made me want to cry. The story line is great and there are some sad parts.

I highly reccomend Chrono Crusade. It's an incredibly tastefully emotional story. Also Witchblade was very good. I love love love Nana, very emotional show.

petshop of horrors.

i don't own it. its got 4 epeisodes, it's sad,creepy,funny,has a candy addicted count, and sometimes unsettling. i love it.

Air. A very similar story by Key games. It's even sadder than Clannad. crying
Kanon too is a very similar story from Key, and sad at parts, but it has a happy ending. (Like Clannad XD)

I wish they'd make a movie/ova out of Key's Planetarian. That was really touching.

Definitely Clannad After Story. I'm only on episode 15, but over all, the series is amazing. ♥
Like Xanth said, Kanon & Air are also very impacting, I but I think Clannad was the best over all(I still haven't finished Air, but from what I've seen, yes).
