It saddens me very much the fact that the second season lasted..what? 12 episodes?!? I was like.."Oh my God this is worse than Michal jackson with a cream pie and suicide while raping a horse and a really really really fat b***h!!!" In other words..I would very much like to kill myself but..that would not work out XD.

Also..the last episode could have been so much better...but I still like the anime...and I hate manga but I would definitly get the books XD and the Mai-hime manga too *long perverted smile* lol

It is really really similar to harry potter...

hoooooow is it even close to harry poter? is there dragons that people ride and even close to the love story that this one has does the chick in harry potter use void magic.... is there a jet that harry uses? is there a person with a sword whos a nite ? is there a person who can use any type of weapon ?..... nooo >.< i hate it when people call it close to harry potter >.< please explain to me how its even close? and i better not get some half dumb awnser like "they use magic"

how do I start??.... well they use magic talk2hand and it does have dragons, griffians and Harry Potter is a love story sweatdrop almost... and Harry does have a sword he uses it to kill the basilisk dramallama also they live in a castle and they have school there two eek also the big tables at the begging of the sieries were kinda like the ones Harry sits at, they also have something like a familer like his owl hermines cat and rons rat... should I go on?... no objectoins ok smile they also have long capes for there school uniforms they use wands the girl is a really powerful alchemist yet she is made fun of like Harry was .............. ok then I give up there are so many things harry potter was realated to its not even funny .... ok maybe it is lol lol

I really liked this anime. And yes it is like harry potter(most likely intentionally). What i really liked about it was the main guy. He wasn't p***y like other romance protagonist. he wasn't wishy washy either, he always followed his "heart" 3nodding .And i liked what he did to the queen too, i almost died laughing. I also like the main female, she was just soooooo adorable. And i think she liked hitting the guy a little too much.

I think people didn't like the second season because it had a more serious tone to it. With the war theme and the thing about honor. I liked both seasons. I really liked this anime, even if it was like harry potter.

The principle of the school sealed the deal for me. It was no coincidence that him and the headmaster from harry potter looks the same. This show having a theme similar to Harry Potter isn't bad thing. It's kinda cool having an anime that isn't always centered around Japaneses culture.
