Thats sad, Moms should always try and support what their kids like regardless of their own tastes~ My mom actually goes to anime Conventions with me and my little sister~ She doesnt watch it or anything but she loves the atmosphere of cons and she has fun taking my little sister and watching her have fun.
Don't know how she feels about anime, but I remember distinctly watching AirTV with me and my friends after a long day at the con, and the one charector had a wet shirt on and my mom walked in and was like: "Oh my god! They have nipples?!"
My Dad probably silently thinks we're all weirdos XD

my dad intro'd me, but he only really likes miyazaki movies. Other than that, he thinks it's kind of silly, while he watches football, but he doesn't mind that I watch it.
my mom is starting to understand the appeal, and she respects it, but she still wouldn't watch it on her own, nor can she sit through an entire episode.

They have no idea what anime/manga I read/watch though. Teehee
