Princess Mononoke OAV? The Fullmetal Alchemist OAV episodes ( as those are probably the only OAV's I've ever watched sweatdrop ) Series? probably a tie between Monster ( best anime, nay best series, I've ever seen ) and Captain Harlock ( 31 years old and still awesome ); Darker than Black, though, is really starting to creep up there Which anime is the funniest/saddest/scariest/dumbest/etc? Funniest: Azumanga Daioh Saddest: Wolfs Rain ( episode 29 made me upset for a week, no joke ) Scariest: Higurashi no Naku Koro ni - that show had some of the best atmosphere I've ever seen in an anime Which anime is the most over-rated? probably Naruto- it's decent, but it's been going on way too long, and there are a lot of other, better series that deserve hype more than this series does Which anime is the most obscure/oldest/popular/newest anime you've seen? Oldest: the original Kimba series Most Obscure: probably Jyu oh Sei- a surprisingly good sci-fi series that pretty much nobody I know has heard of Which anime are you currently watching? Gankutsuou Higashi no Eden One Piece Black Jack Which anime were better as a manga, and vice versa? anime that was better as a manga: Bleach manga that was/would be better as an anime: Blood Plus Subtitles or Dubbing? Dubbing, if it's done well ( and heck, these days it's actually pretty hard to find a really bad dub- it's not impossible, but it's hard ) |
