My favorite Anime or Series would have to be: X/1999 the Movie and the spin off series X T.V. This was the first "Horror/Thriller Anime" that I did see in the theaters at a film festival in Chicago at a independent theater, and it introduced me to one of my favorite J ROCK bands (X JAPAN, the artist of the theme song "Forever Love"wink I later went on to buy the Manga version of the movie and it was better than the movie!!! I love this series by CLAMP and the movie by MANGA ENTERTAINMENT. I suggest all fans of CLAMP and MANGA to check this one out wink
My favorite anime of all time is Cowboy Bebop, it has it all, great characters, cool adventures, comedy, action, drama, something for everyone! Its the one anime me and all my friends can really enjoy together, cause we all have different tastes in anime.
Naruto is the best one. It has a Super plot and many awesome characters.
Heavy action mixed with GREAT humor. It has an excellent soundtrack and is also released weekly so we dont have to wait to long. Tho thumb up!!
My favorite anime is Scrapped Princess; I really can't wait for it to be released in the United States. It was great; so tense one moment, and then the cut to the music they play before and after commercials and the music was very happy. No matter how stressful it was seconds before, I would crack up immediately. Not to mention, it strikes a chord with my.. um.. religious nonbeliefs.
Dragonball Z is my favorite. I like it because of the pasts of so many of the characters, and its about the whole good vs. evil also.
Furi Kuri is also my fave....just because it makes no sense and is really funny.
Ranma 1/2, I guess.. I've been reading it for years, it was the first manga I ever picked up. It's hilarious and yes, it does get repetitive, but somehow stays fresh, and the action's great. Art's nice and simple.
I also love Maison Ikkoku (also by Rumiko Takahashi, and the second manga I picked up), for its zany humor.. it makes me laugh out loud.
And Oh My Goddess, for its detail (wings! hair!clothes!) and humor.. same for Chobits (I read that a year or two ago, I kind of stopped.. gah! Need to look for later volumes).. Blade of the Immortal for its insanely cartoonish/realistic art.. I also like the trilogy 'Joan' for that, too.
Oh. And I guess my favorite anime is Cowboy Bebop. ...And Ranma 1/2, again. ...um. That's a lot more than one.
i must say that love hina is my ultimate favorite. its odd how things that go on in that anime happen in real life. not telling someone how you feel and always giving that wrong impression. that not the only reason i love the episodes manga and movies tho. love hina some how stands different to me and like that. just like evangelion stands different. weird but different. anyways, love hina is my choice above all next to i my me strawberry eggs... biggrin
favorite? well, i guess that my fav anime of all time is a close tie..either FLCL, or Eva, or RahXephon, or maybe Cowboy Bebop..i've watched a lot of 'em and i can't decide..the ones i really like, i've just watched over and over again, along with watching new ones.. like FullMetal Alchemist, and Gilgamesh, and some of the other ones i've been watching lately *XD*
oh well, i guess it's alright not to be able to decide, neh?
My Favourite anime is Groove Adventure, Rave. Err, because its one of the best? Well, actually, I also read the manga so I guess I sort of fell in love with it. I <3 Plue! I so love that cute thing...haha! blaugh
Hmm, but I still don't think Rave is the best. Its my current favourite but I hope to watch more anime and get crazy over them! smile (slamdunk's nice too...)
It's all about ASTROBOY! "Flying high through the sky, he may be small but only in size! Astroboy....Astroboy" biggrin I remember getting up every morning as a kid and switchin' on the ol' boobtube at 6am to watch it. I'm not sure WHY I like astroboy so much...he's just really cool. Those red boots rock! Come on, hip lasers! Who can't love a cartoon character who has HIP LASERS! biggrin I liked Astro so much I got a tattoo n' everything! Woot! Go go 80's cartoons!
I also loved watching the Samurai Pizza Cats. They're a classic
