What was your first anime? (Read the first post!)

Mine was Hello Kitty. My aunt lived in Japan for a couple years and would send tapes over to me, along with all the other Hello Kitty stuff she liked. *smile* That was when I was a baby too! ^-^ Go me!

my first had to be slayers. i turned on the international channel one day and there it was. then came digimon, sailormoon, and all the others.l my favs currently. not that many care are inuyasha, flcl[ go randomness], .hack, g-gundam, and kenshin

My first Anime was Sailor Moon. I have seen it in German TV. But I don´t like the German dub, and I hate the U.S. dub. It´s horrible. The only right way to see Sailor Moon is the japanese dub.

The very first Anime I ever saw was "Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind."
Not many people know of that movie, but it was directed by one of the greatest, Hiyo Myazaki (sp?).

Afterwards, I began to watch the first chapter of Robotech. This was the part of the 3 chapters of Macross in which the Zentradi had just arrived at Earth. I never really got into the other 2 chapters of Macross, however I do now watch Macross Plus and Macross Zero.

Then it was Gatchaman Force, or the shorten "G-Force." A few years passed by before I would truly take interest in anyother animes.

Toonami had first aired on Cartoon Network, and I loved every piece of it. I would try my best to watch every episode of Sailor Moon, Gundam Wing, Tenchi Muyo, Robotech (I was still quite a fan at this time xd ), and Dragonball Z. I had taken a liking to the fact that one of the most famous Space Ghost villains was in charge of the show, which added to the quality of it all. I would then be dismayed that Toonami would be leaving the Ghost Planet and I waved goodbye to Moltar.

Woah... I'm getting nostalgic here. xd

Well, I think I'm going to cut this rather short and just say what animes I'm currently into as of today.

Trigun, Gundam SEED, YuYu Hakusho, .hack//SIGN & Legend of the Twilight, Kikaider the Animation, Inu Yasha, Wolf's Rain, Dirty Pair Flash, FLCL, "X", Tenchi GXP, Witch Hunter Robin, Cowboy Bebop, and a couple more I can't seem to remember... Oh well. xp

My first anime. Hmm. I think its gotta be sailor moon or Dragon ball. Lol. I didnt know they were anime at the time; but they were my first anime. I must've been about...4 years old. lol. sweatdrop

After those ones, I started watching more anime they showed on tv; still didnt know it was anime; until about 2 years ago, and then i just got hooked. ^_^

The first anime I remember seeing is Sailor Moon, but I rarely watched it, I was only 6. Then I got into Dragonball and DragonballZ for a brief period of time, but then I forgot about it. But the anime that started my obsession and got me into anime was Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz. My friend showed it to me and I liked it a lot. I still get all nostalgic when I watch it...
