What was your first anime? (Read the first post!)

I'm not sure if the first anime i saw when i was little was Dragon Ball or Tekknoman. Both are very cool animes and very differant. I have to say the two animes that really got me dabbeling in the viewing of anime was Sailor Moon and Dragon Ball Z. domokun

My first anime was Sailor Moon as well. I've moved on since then, but I still have a special place for it in my heart (every now and then I feel like watching it; just because it reminds me of when I used to watch it with my big sis when we were little). Now my favorite anime is probably Fushigi Yugi with Berserk a close second (which is funny since they're exact opposites...). Oh well, I guess I'm just perverse like that. 3nodding

The first anime I ever watched was dragonball the original one, back then I thought it was so cool but ever since then, I have seen much better ones.

Hmmm...My first...I had seen bits of DBZ and hated it, but my first real experience with anime and manga was Sailor Moon.

I was in sixth grade when some of my friends started to bring in the manga and talk about the anime. I bought a volume myself, but it wasn't for another year or so that I regularly bought manga of any series (DB and DBZ, ironically enough). I started to regularly watch Sailor Moon and eventually started to like DBZ. I have since moved on, but those will always have the honor of being my first anime...

Dragon Ball Z: I saw the First Episode first. As soon as I saw the characters duking It out and seeing Raditz' stomach being blasted through I loved.

the first anime i saw was either DBZ or DBGT. i'm not sure which, because i remember seeing one of the dragonball series on the japanese channel. my bro got me into it. and from there i just got obessed with many different kinds of anime.

What I consider my first anime was Transformers (in the 80's). But my first movie anime was Ninja Scroll...And I'll bewatching it a couple thousand more times before I get sick of it!

Fortunatly the first anime i ever layed eyes on was Dragon Ball. When i was very young i remember.

Unfortunatly that was followed by ::looks around and whispers:: Sailormoon. I know i know its horrible. Not that it was a bad show it just got old after the thousanth re-run.

Then i fell in love with the world of DBZ and since then i have been a great supporter of it...even with the whole a battle takes 80 episodes thing. Since then i have met other anime obviously (Fav-Hellsing), but i still have major love for the Dragon Ball series.

Hmm I must say my first anime was Dragon Ball. Yes it is now VERY old School but uhh I was what 8 stare ... and umm well it was so long ago and I was so young for me it was considered a Cartoon lol. So then I must say that my "real first anime" was Yu Yu Hakusho and man whee ... my first anime crush occured then lol. sweatdrop
