What do you think of the anime? I haven't gotten very far in the manga. But I would like to hear everyone's opinion on Fruits Basket. Mine is that from what I've been told about the manga it's not half as good as the manga.

I found it unique, nice, funny, and heartwarming. smile I really like it. It's a great series, but I do suggest looking at the manga if you haven't as well, it continues to where the anime left off. Overall though, I really like the series, it made me laugh a lot, and it was a very happy series! 3nodding

I found the anime sweet and heartwarming. As far as the manga goes, I quite enjoyed it until the middle-endish when the illustrations started to become terrible and the plot became predictable, boring, and cliche. The ending to the manga was disappointing and anti-climatic. I think it's still worth a read, though. It's kind of one of those guilty-pleasure manga.

The artwork isn't that great. But it's one the best series I've ever read. The anime is okay but it stops waaaay too early. There should be more episodes. emo

I really enjoy the serious especially all the actors because they remind me of me and my friends, but we dont transform into animals like they do, we can act like it at times but I really do like fruits basket
