'Twilight', the anime...?

In the cast-commentary version of Twilight on the DVD, Robert Pattinson says his eyes look Asian, and that he looks like an anime character. Director Catherine Hardwicke then says, "Oh, I hear they're making a Twilight anime, so you will be an anime character."

Okay, I like Twilight (call me stupid for liking it if you wish...), but it gets enough hate as it is. It needs to get the heck out of anime fandom. Srsly. I'm not complaining about it, but still...I'm just curious. I've even heard that CLAMP might do the designs and such. XD

I predict Mamoru Miyano as Edward's seiyuu. ninja

I think a twilight anime would be a bad idea. I just don't think it would be something that would appeal to that fan base as well.
