Yes, but you're not differentiating between a human being allotted their normal lifespan and some mindless jerk killing people because he thinks it's a good way to make sure no one else kills people. biggrin

Mindless? Kira was brilliant. Whether you agree with his ideals or not, at least admit that he has intelligence. I am a Kira supporter, but I can aknowledge that L was a genius.

And what is a person's "normal" lifespan? A "natural" death? So it is okay if someone starves to death? It is okay if they are mauled by an animal? It is okay if they die by getting buried alive in an earthquake? How about dying slowly of a terminal illness? Those are okay because they are acts of God? But if a person puts someone into cardiac arrest killing them instantly because they are a vicious criminal, its wrong? confused Actually, I would say that Kira is one Hell of a lot more merciful than "God".

Natural causes, hon. Meaning, no one killed them. People dying of natural causes is just things happening as they will. No one is behind it willfully making someone die-- which, if I may reiterate, is wrong. smile
In that case, I repeat...

I thought I answered. It's not hunky-dory when anyone dies, but death is natural. But this is the case of someone willfully killing someone else.
And how is that less natural than any other way of dying?

There are no malicious intentions behind it. In other words, a will to harm someone, I think, is wrong. You can blame an earthquake for killing people, but you can't punish it because it has no will to inflict harm.

Are we saying that some teen who thinks he knows what justice is killing people with a magic book is natural? lol

Well its fantasy, but if there were an actual magic book that did that, then I would say it IS pretty natural. That notebook must have been created for a reason. And using it to eliminate criminals is as good a reason as any other.

Pfft. No way in hell I'll worship a physco. talk2hand
Very no. He is not God, not real, and furthermore, he was a human. He made the mistake of lashing out at the first person that 'threatened' him. Lind L. Taylor. That proved he would kill the good right along with the bad if he was backed into a corner. He was not right in that.
No I'd be on L's side all the way.

Kira had good intentions, but I'd never worship him.
If I didnt know about the soul thing (like he didnt) Id do the same thing as him.
As for worshiping him, wel, from a citizens perspective, I'd have nothing to worry about so I wouldnt really care. You couldnt tell that hes a douche because more than likey, you'd only see him as an icon and not know him as that person.
Plus, it'd be easier to believe in him than other religions.

I would not consider him as a God but I would help him.

His intentions was good. He just forgot about morality and power that he possesed was too much for him.
no....he's no God.....he's a murderer(^^)

Really? I was under the impression that the Death Note wasn't something that was supposed to be in the hands of humans.
No.

After thought, I've come to the conclusion that Light/Kira is a stereotypical nazi. And I'd under no circumstances worship Hitler.

Seriously. Instead of the Jews, Light started with criminals; both people thought these were banes of society. Then later both moved on to others, people who were 'weak', the disabled. They both wanted 'perfect worlds'.

So, in short, Light=Anime!Hitler. The end.
