Though i've never come in contact with a real psycho-active Naruto fan,
i've seen the havoc they reek on FF and here.

I've been bitched at by a Haruhi Suzumiya fan, though.

Me personally, I don't like to be elitist. It's just that I enjoy the series sometimes a lot more then other people and I want to know as much as possible without being bat-s**t. I don't try to force people to watch it, because they think A)too far ahead, B)the art is s**t, C) pirates suck or D) It's the 4 Kids version.

It's like talking to a brick wall sometimes, so I just ignore them.

I love the series so much. It's easily my favourite of all time. But I don't have the time or energy to care enough about what other people like to try and force someone to agree with me on it.
If they say the art is simplistic bullshit, sure, I'll try correct the idea that the art is 'easy' and crap. But then, like you said, it's usually like talking to a brick wall.

It's not really worth it.

As ******** as the Naruto fanbase is, I've actually had the most fun with them as opposed to other fandoms.

Actually, the ONLY problem I've ever had with anyone at a con was with a Byakuya cosplayer, who wouldn't stop feeling me up.

I'm actually going to have to go with KH. Even if they don't take the prize for most amount of asspies, they certainly are the loudest group.

They are really loud. The KH cosplayers always form these little cliques at cons. It pisses me off. They get so condescending. stare

I won't say it's the worst, because there isn't a worst, but the most annoying fanbase that I've met so far is Lucky Star's fanbase.
