I also recommend HetaOni. It's not an anime but it's based off of the anime Hetalia, basically the Hetalia version of the horror game Ao Oni. It's just.... crying crying crying crying crying crying crying

I just want manga / anime that will change my life, make me cry, and sometimes even give me hope. Just like Clannad did. I've done some horrible self-hating and loathing.

Same, Angel Beats definitely did, HetaOni made the biggest impact on me because there was a huge huge moral to it about how one character had to go through pain over and over and over and over just because he lost trust in his friends, because he didn't learn that friends will always be friends and that they always stay together no matter what. Made me realize that I needed to trust my friends more. Watch it on youtube, it's not completed yet classified_fu But it's pretty big, and the music from it can make you cry too

I aboslutely loved it.
Loved the music to it as well. I need a combo of both for me to be interested.
