I actually liked Death Note. It had it's flaws sure, but I enjoyed it, mostly for the L and Light dynamic and because L wasn't a good guy, he was apathetic as ******** to the whole thing and just had a logic boner for Kira. It was interesting and a neat dramatic watch. Plenty of things I could have preferred to be changed or fixed or added it, but for what it was I was okay with it.

Near was shitty, however. He was too deus ex machina and too good "perfect". He ruined the ending for me :'/
