Actually, there is no definite proof that the media triggers a psychological influence on a person.

For starters, Tsutomu's crazy actions might have stemmed from the bullying and isolation he received in school, due to his deformed hands. Since finals are up, I don't really have time for long argument threads now. However, I shall say my final remark in this thread.

From the looks of things, I guess I really can't change the opinions of those who hate loli/shota with a passion, no matter how hard I argue. However, that's fine by me. If you think loli/shota is evil, fine. Even though I disagree with you, to each their own opinion, I guess.

However, when you moralists start accusing us hentai fans of being rapists, child molesters, or ***** just because we enjoy reading something you don't, then that's just plain wrong. Please stop generalizing us hentai fans like that, because that's not right. Accusing us hentai fans of being rapists/molesters is no different from accusing those who enjoy violent shows and video games as murderers, psychotic serial killers, or wife beaters. I'm sure you people who oppose loli/shota enjoy violent shows and movies like Naruto, Code Geass, James Bond films, and such, right? Now, let's reverse the situation. I hope that example shows why the "anime loli = real girl" argument is very, VERY faulty. The fictional world is not the same as the real world, and will NEVER be, no matter how hard you moralists try to justify it with your flawed logic. Anyone who enjoys loli/shota are NOT rapists, just like how anyone who enjoys Gears of War are NOT murderers. Simple as that. Why is it acceptable to get excited and pumped up by violent movies/games, and yet, it's taboo to get aroused by sexual books/games? What makes violence "cool", but sex "wrong"? How come when two fictional teenagers try to kill each other with swords and guns, people say it's awesome, but when two fictional teenagers engage in sexual acts with each other, people say it's "offensive and immoral"? Why is that? What makes sex worse than violence?

C'mon guys, I want all of you moralists to question your own beliefs. This is called Critical Thinking, and while it may feel uncomfortable at first to question your established beliefs, it will eventually widen your view of life. Think outside the box, guys. GTA is a take on violence, not child porn. Violence is basically accepted in the world, since it's all over the place, be it news, movies, games, and such. With violence, there's always a main purpose to it, such as politics, religion, revenge, insanity, etc. In Final Fantasy, it's basically a randomize attack on your party that you actually have to kill or be killed, and are fighting for a purpose in a way to change the world for better. Kiddyporn comes in various forms too, in this case, as drawings. The main purpose of kiddyporn is to get the viewer off. Very seldom in here do I hear discussions of "Anyone see that baby Konata pic with" or something involving a popular kids show like Dora the Explorer, followed by a specific action/position, with a heated discussion of fantards saying how awesome it is and what they'd do. Anyway, don't care if you do since it's the internet. Go for it, it'll get a good lolz.

A vast majority of society generalize loli/shota readers as ped0s since they volunteeringly view depictions of children in sexual exploits. Is it natural? Why are people going to jail for trying to order loli manga? Apperently that's some bad stuff. Anyway, to answer the question above, violent movies/games are accepted at an entertainment value as a normal basis just because it's accepted as what happens in the world. Sexual themes involving children are frowned upon in the world and are not promoted.

Let's ask why child pornography is usually negative. One answer is that children are easily swayed by ideas and will comply without any or little grievance. In those kinds of drawings, it's just a wet dream to many seeing little girls not only complying but admitting it's fun. It's all fiction on paper, but it still gets the idea across. Again I'll say that you guys are probably a cool bunch of folks, but I very much doubt that the majority of people getting it are getting it just for the storyline.

With that said, ask yourself if you are a ped0, if this is normally what they look at, and with what you're looking at why it is considered so wrong, and why you can't find this kind of stuff at news stands, yet you can find hordes of Penthouse and Penthouse variations with all that raunchy stuff done to adult women, as well as the illustrated Heavy Metal magazines which shows drawings of women in scantily clad clothing or barely any clothing at all.

The world may not be black and white, but some issues just remain that way no matter what to the world. Somehow it's understood by a good number. It's called conscience. The ones who don't have it are usually idiot smartass smug children or retards thinking their badass by going against the norm and announcing it. Whatever you like to believe it or not, that's how most fetishes are born. You just don't come out from a v****a with your personality or the odd fetishes that you may have, you develop them as you grow up according to the different life experiences that you had.
