If you want comedy, I would suggest Axis Powers Hetalia.

Most countries are represented by a person who is very stereotypical of that country (France is a pervert, America loves hamburgers and gets in everyone's business, U.K. sees magical creatures and Russia's insane).

The main storyline is around WWII but it will jump around to a bunch of different times (Italy and the Holy Roman Empire, American Revolution, etc).

The episodes are short, but very funny. biggrin
