It's not the threads that bother me, so much as the lack of attention to better series.

Every day, 99.9% of the AMC topics consist of Naruto, Death Note, Bleach or Shugo Chara.
No exceptions.

And, when you do start a different topic, the only response you ever get is "So?" or "I don't care, go die in a gutter"...

Replace Shugo Chara with DBZ and your statement is true.

What else can you expect from a site whose main focus is teenagers?
You can't change something by complaining about, and I've already learned my lesson on that one.
The only thing we can do is to ignore them and talk about what we enjoy. However that may prove ineffective as well. Just yesterday I tried to make a discussion on the anime movie "Cat Soup". Didn't even last twelve hours

Last night, I saw four Naruto-related threads in a row, and I felt disheartened. </3
Even so, fighting spam-fire with spam-fire won't improve anything, though I saw an interesting thread where the OP begged for Narutards to try something, anything else for a change. Slightly less frustrating to see.

One of the reasons I've stopped coming around here so much is more than once, I've had it where not just the first page, but the next one after was completely filled with topics that didn't interest me at all.

Just a bunch of threads about overdone series, threads complaining about them, the token trolling threads, a few 'Hey, favorite series, rawr?', and the obligatory 'this thread doesn't belong here at all, but did you really expect Gaians to read the rules first, haha?'.

If I can't find a topic to respond to in the first two pages full of threads, that worries me. sweatdrop

Seriously. People like the anime. Get over it. Sure there are others out there. People do watch them. I like watching Naruto, mostly because I find it interesting. I like to read other manga and anime as well. Like Shangri La.

I'm not a hater of Naruto. I'm just saying as all...

I don't hate Naruto either, but add me to the list of 'complainers' who don't bother complaining about it.

Best remedy is to throw a thread to the board telling us what you 'do' like.

Unfortunately for lots of mainstream fandom, Naruto is still 'it'. Can't force them to expand on their horizons. And frankly this season of Japanese animation is proving to be lacking in 'big name' series, so lots of folks are sticking with what they've already been enjoying the past few years.

Stinks, but that's how the cookie crumbles sometimes.

*points up* Ditto. I pop in from time to time, respond to what looks interesting. Tried to put up threads on series I enjoy, but they always either 'die' or get shoved to the Chatterbox.
