And now hey....he killed the one person who actually loved him. Sure there are those lusting for him....But Itachi was killed. Now no one really loves him. How would you feel leading a life of solitude.

Actually this isn't true. He's killed the second to last person who loved him. Naruto is still his best friend. He's spent three or so years training specifically in order to get Sasuke back. He would sacrifice his dream of Hokage in order to have Sasuke return to Konoha. No matter how you look at it, Naruto really loves Sasuke. So Sasuke isn't alone. He just feels like it.

I think it depends on your definition of "emo." I think Sasuke's more of an emo kid because he's overly self-pitying, arrogant, and selfish. That's just my definition, though. Not that he's completely terrible. He does occasionally have redeeming qualities. And he was screwed up by outside sources. He just fits my definition of an emo kid more than Naruto.

But if you're counting number of times someone cries, Naruto is your guy.

Anyway, this is an interesting idea. Thanks for posting an unusual topic.

I would have to agree and not agree at the same time. Yes, most emo kids are like that, but that is not what emo really is. Naruto may have some emo traits, but I think he is far from emo. Why? This is anime, he has grown up with no parents, watched people he cared about disappear, and he couldn't do anything about it. That's how they show emotions in anime.

Now, wouldn't you feel a bit emotional in that situation. What if your parents up and left you, never to come home? What if your best friend decided to hate you? What if someone close to you went and died? Seriously think about how you would feel. Having to get everything on your own, having to struggle by yourself. That my dear, is not fun. Think about how well you'd deal living through something like that. I'll tell you, Naruto deals with it pretty well.

Remember, just because you cry, that doesn't make you emo.

I don't think Sasuke ever considered Naruto his best friend. Sure he said it...but look at his actions he took against Naruto before the fight when he said Naruto was his best friend. Friends support each other. Sasuke was constantly jealous.

Now for that situation you posted. I wouldn't feel a bit emotional. I'd be quite emotional. But then again. His parents did not just up and leave. Maybe just his mother...but Minato died. Isn't a friendship a mutual agreement? Mustn't both sides like each other? Sasuke hated Naruto, from what I picked up. Friends support each other. Sasuke was jealous of Naruto.

Now for Naruto being alone, that perfectly fits the emo stereotype. He has no one. and crying adds to this stereotype. I'm not saying that everyone who cries is emo. Crying is just human nature. So what is the stereotype? Someone who is alone and cries over EVERYTHING right? That's what Naruto does. He especially cries and mopes about being weak and not able to bring Sasuke back OVER AND OVER. FACE IT NARUTO! HE DOES NOT WANT TO COME BACK! THE MORE HE DOES THIS, I'M SURE THE MORE HE PUSHES SASUKE AWAY! It's like begging your ex to come back to you constantly.
remember the part in the Zabuza arc then Naruto cuts himself to take out the poison? Emo~

So yeah. Let me settle this once and for all. I'm ready to take all these bashings from people and hate messages and whatnots....But here is goes. *

Naruto is more emo than Sasuke. Think about it. What do emos do? Cry all the time about the person they have lost. Three fricken' years Naruto has been crying about how he lost Sasuke and how much he wants to bring Sasuke back. Sasuke is over this. Sasuke never cared. Naruto hurts himself trying to bring Sasuke back....thinking that this would make him stronger. Remember the Fuuton Rasenshuriken? He kept hurting himself doing it...but he still persisted. Oh no! Naruto is hurting himself to get stronger! The pain does not affect him! It only works as his motivation!

did you read the part when naruto heard that Jiraiya died?
he cried like a baby XD
Chocolate mint is good, too.

Stupid Kishimoto wanted to extend the comic by drawing pictures of emo people.
I cried when itachi died too i knew he never was evil >.<
But yeah i really never thought sasuke was emo at all but i'm still not fond of him, never was.
Naruto emo?
That never crossed my mind wow good point.

Itachi wasn't the second to last person who loved Sasuke. He probably was the first. Like I said in my previous post, Fugaku always neglected Sasuke, telling him that he is far inferior than Itachi. Itachi spent time with Sasuke, loving and caring for him. Now for Sasuke as an emo in your terms..I don't think emos are arrogant and selfish. I'm sure that emos don't care about themselves. That's why they are stereotyped to inflict self-harm and expected to commit suicide.

And you are welcome for this unusual topic.
