*nods* Yep, this does make alot of sence, though I dont usually runs bent over( my friend does that, only he does it "dbz" style, where his arms are straight behind him. it looks silly.) It does make me go faster by alot. and yes, i get tired alot faster. its like sprinting. ( ps, I LOVE running up to a wall and running along it, then bouncing off and spinning. its so much fun!)

About them running long distances while crouched, no they wouldn't get tired running like that, most likely they would get tired faster running upright, why? Because they have been running like that their whole lives and are used to it...WTF do you think they did in the ninja academy? Play ring around the rosy?

LOL, *nods* yes, they are very used to it by then. (maybe thats why im usually the top 5 when my class runs the mile....) completed in 5 minutes flat! boo yeah!

Q: Why do the Naruto people run like that?
A: It actually helps them. Now picture a person running upright. That thing called air resistance is slowing them down for every place it touches. Now, imagine someone Naruto-style running. Since they're bent over, they cut down about two feet of air resistance, so it makes them faster. And yes, it does work in real life. I've increased my running speed by about 1 mph with the same effort as 1 mph less.

It's also a way to cut down your surface area. They are ninja after all and are probablly trained like that so they do not make a good target. The smaller the surface area, the harder to hit.

That doens't matter much if your attacked from the side.

Your just aiming at an "L" shaped target instead of and "l" shaped one.

when kakasi was still in a team of three he lost his eye on a mission a teammate who was from the uchiha clan was in the team and was killed but before he died he gave kakashi his remaining good eye which was stuck in sharingan mode and thats how he got it XD

I actually didn't think about those questions. I mean thats why they call it fiction but you can do some of that stuff in real life.
