Is it so much to want an anime were I'm watching dudes do dumb s**t like my friends do
If you can have an anime based entirely around cute girls doing cute things then you can do exactly the same with boys and leave out the yaoi

I'm not that bothered by moe unless it crosses into lolicon territory (Ro-Kyu-Bu for example) and then it's creepy. It's not my taste, but I wouldn't say it's killing anime. It's just a trend, and it could very well lose popularity in the future.

The problem is a lot of garbage shows have come along that don't have anything to offer except moe character designs and cliche fanservice (crappy VN adaptations in particular). The moe factor should not be a replacement for plot and character development.
