Lets Talk: Persona 4: The Golden Animation

Golden 7 is done.

Decent, if short, conclusion to Adachi SL, with more original content expanding on his "sickeningly" mundane, lackluster and thwarted background.

Unfortunately, Ameno meets the same 1-shot-kill end as Kunino. But hey, it was because Adachi finally cave in and grudgingly acknowledged the existence of a bond between himself and Yu, allowing the latter to summon Magatsu for the first and last blow. Consider that, earlier, Magatsu effortlessly tanked EVERYTHING thrown at it by Yu's army of Ultimate Arcana Personas and destroyed every last one of them, leaving the guy Persona-Broken at the last stretch (though Magatsu DID finally go down after double-KO-ing with Izanagi). So we go into climactic fisticuffs, and Adachi is still holding onto his superiority that he holds back shooting at Yu until he gets disarmed and MMA'd good.

And Marie? She gets to do Yu one last Social service by renewing his resolve after his disastrous first meeting with Killer!Adachi. Because when all is said and done, a Mysterious Figure returns her missing memories, causing her to absorb the Inaba fog. Poof. Gone.

With Marie gone, Persona 4: the Golden Animation has reverted to being plain old vanilla Persona 4: the Animation, with "Key Plus Words" as the OP. Brilliant!

Not surprised at another of Yu's brilliant plans blowing up in his face. All Social link girls are now solidly Friend-zone'd, save one...if only Yu can remember the exception.

Marie is all alone in the ED now, and her memory screens are blacked out.
