I adore Amaimon. Because you know, that wasn't already totally obvious. But yeah. Amaimon, Mephisto, and Rin are the only three characters I really give a damn about in the series, and the only three that I really ship pairings with (and very few pairings at that).

I'm not much of a shipper in general, I must admit. I find it annoying when some people make these incredibly far-fetched shippings of characters that barely interact at all and go "OMG THEY ARE LIKE SOOOO PERFECT FOR EACH OTHER DESU". Not saying this applies to you, I've just seen a lot of that so I just.. don't ship much. :'D

I just have this thing of preferring to read manga as physical tankoubon instead of scanlations.. and I can't afford to buy everything I want to read. x_x

I have the DVDs as well, but since my stupid computer makes horrible noises when I try to watch those I ended up torrenting a fansub as well.. which actually has better quality subs than the official release. xD How sad is that?
I love sci-fi, personally. And horror-ish elements always attract me too. Plus I adored the style as well. Have you seen Deadman Wonderland? Manglobe animated that too, and they did a pretty good job in my opinion.

Yeah, I love the smell of a new manga volume. But still, I'm too impatient and hate being left behind, so I read stuff online too, and then buy the volumes when they get released here.

Eh, sort of. I have several characters I use for role play, but I also write about them when I'm not using them to role play with. The newest one is the one I was updating the bio for, and I just did a bit of interaction between him and one of my other characters.

sci fi is good. I swear, good part of what made me a geek had to do with my mom exposing me to science fiction when I was really little damn, I still miss her ;_;

Deadman Wonderland is actually on my list of things to eventually check out (the only thing is, my manga, anime, and novel backlog is pretty long, so it sometimes takes me a while to get to something new).

Ah, yeah, I understand that. I do sometimes read stuff online, but in general it's more comfortable to read printed manga instead, in my opinion.

Ah, I see. Do you have any fancharacters? I tend to make some for anime/manga/game settings that I really like. Never mary sues though, those are annoying as hell. xD Me and a close friend of mine were discussing maybe making some characters for AnE too.

I just got into video games and manga at a very young age, and I was always kinda "premature" in some ways. Sci-fi and horror have stuck to me the strongest. There isn't that much good horror around though, which is a shame.

Another recommendation I have is Steins;Gate. That and Ao no Exorcist are my two highlights of the week.

xD I think that's what happened to me too. Though, I more or less blame my favorite 5927 artist for starting to draw Sengoku Basara art of two characters. In her art style, one of them looked a LOT like Gokudera, and I ended up pairing him with Tsuna. xD It was like "whoaaaaaaaaa wtf but I love it." I even drew fanart of it. emo /I'm so lame

Yeah, when I found out that Ao no Exorcist was out in English, I begged my mom to take me to the book store to see if it was in stock. *stares at the two volumes sitting on my nighttable next to my pictures of Amaimon* I was hoping I'd get the first volume before Anime North, so I could show my friends and get them hooked on it. Sadly though, things happened and they didn't make it, so I ended up getting only one of my friends watching it after she got out of the hospital. I'd still like to try and convince my other two friends to watch it though.

I have only one fan character for RPing. She's a KHR OC, though I rarely use her. I haven't thought about making one for AnE though since I generally tend to avoid fan characters (for fear of mary-sues).

yeah, my mom died just under half a year ago, took a nap and just stopped breathing sometime between the time she laid down and the time I tried to wake her up. worst part was how it came out of nowhere, she'd had bad heath for years, but not quite two years before she had heart surgery and had been slowly improving and then all of a sudden WHAM.

right now, the only two series I'm really keeping up to date on are Blue Exorcist and now the new season of Natsume's Book of Friends. I'm also keeping an eye out on No. 6 after I heard it being compared to a Philip K. d**k novel and Blood-C since my mom loved Blood: The Last Vampire and Blood+ (as well as other vampire related anime) but right now those aren't priority series.

Actually to be exact we went as far as combining the two characters into one because the end result was hilarious. xD
I rarely do fanart because I feel like I can't do the characters justice. emo

I'm constantly "brainwashing" my friends too aka trying to get them hooked on good anime that I pick up. Sadly most of them have very different tastes from me. u.u I get recommendations from one particular friend, we have eerily similar tastes sometimes. He was the one that told me to check out AnE too and he hasn't failed me yet, haha.

I usually nowadays always create fancharacters in pairs with a friend, that way they don't end up being mary sue-like. xD It's ridiculous when people claim to be married to a fictional character gonk My friend can't seem to decide what his character's Meister would be as an Exorcist - he'd most likely be either Knight or Dragoon. I'd probably go for Tamer and have some super derpy demon for a familiar, lol.
