If I remember correctly, Oda said five years once, so I believe that it SHOULD be in the next four, but ten does seem like a reasonable number to bet on.

Samurai Champloo and Samurai X are good anime about swordsmen. Berserk is a good one too, but it doesn't mean the main character is the best swordsmen in the anime world.
Also, the title of the best anime swordsman doesn't mean they have to come from an anime about swordsmen-ship either.

I say Trunks, from the dragon ball series, is the best anime swordsman. He beated an alien that can destroy a planet. And yes, he has a sword.
