Eden of the East (Higashi No Eden): Very funny, witty, and a story that engages you and opens up an opportunity for some great thought-provoking conversation. It's a must see, plus it's only 11 episodes and the movie comes out this month. I have no doubts that she/he will enjoy it. If my mom liked it, then your friend surely will. 10/10 in my book, it's a classic.
