It's long, and most of it is fillers so not watching all of it is bad.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND SCHOOL RUMBLE.

WHY?
It has love triangles, love squares, love octagons or any shape you can ever imagine! And you know what else? It is HILARIOUS! -

I'd say Princess Tutu, but the story gets kind of depressing and I ultimately hated the ending.

If you're going to watch Fruits Basket, well, you may not laugh as much as SR but it has an honorable mention in my opinion.


If you REALLY want to make her love a romance anime, I suggest you watch a reverse-harem anime (3 or more guys and one girl).
Examples: La Corda D'oro, Pretear, Saiunkoku Monogatari, Ouran

Out of the ones listed, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya is probably the most convenient if you're looking for something that is actually funny.
From my point of view, everything else in the list is just slightly funny.
