All you have to do is ask your principal if it would be ok to get a Japanese club. I also think you need a sponsor (like a teacher) Thats what we had to do in my school anyway.

To make a club, it takes time. My friend started an anime club at my school, and she had to have out principal write a letter to the board of ed, and they had to approve it before we could do anything. And you can show anime that are above pg level, they just can't got to R, and you have to legal authorization. Like you can't show the original downloaded version if it's already been licensed.

if you want to start one at your school, you should definitely put up fliers and see how many people show up after 2 meetings, if you see that there are a lot of people, maybe you should keep the idea! whee
