Obviously you don't understand his character. He sacrificed himself to be away from the woman he loved in order to save his planet from destruction, then he was brainwashed to help Galactus destroy tons of planets, but he learned compassion again from Alicia Masters and threw off the brainwashing, and managed to help save Earth from his former master, but then he was imprisoned on Earth and was hated and misunderstood by everyone, and he had tons of powerful enemies trying to kill him and even steal his soul.
