So I decided to watch Chrono Crusade on the anime player.
Why not? 'Sides, I've never seen the dub.
But hearing the opening hit me with nostalgia hard.
It was one of the first anime I watched in Japanese.

Anyone else hit with nostalgia?
What do you think of Chrono Crusade? I haven't touched it in awhile, but I'm liking the dub. Especially how often they use "Jeepers".

I think a lot of them are dubbed by the same company.
Gaia's taste reminds me of AniMonday on Scifi. The only one missing is Gundam 00.

If I remember correctly, I used to watch G4/Tech TV's... Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi, Gad Guard, Crest (and Banner) of the Stars, Dual Parallel Universe Adventure...Betterman, and I think even Read or Die there. Last Exile too.

I really want to watch Monster now...
And I'm kinda surprised at how popular Now and Then, Here and There seems to be.

And my order would be Tactics, DoD, and Chrono Crusade.

Wow... Lots of those anime are ones I like.
I kinda wish we had G4 a little earlier. We got cable when they were showing RahXephan, ROD, and Colorful (and my favorite they showed was Happy Tree Friends and those weird cartoons). It was near the end.

Oh, me too.
You have no idea the mini nostalgia burst I get whenever I hear a CCS themesong, the first KKM opening, or the original Pokemon Theme.
But, I dunno why it is, but with the Chrono opening, I suddenly got reminded of A LOT of anime I watched when I was just getting into anime.
Inuyasha, Tactics, Scryed, Elemental Gelade, Black Blood Brothers, Black Cat, NGE...
Funny thing is it didn't remind me of my favorites from back then, like CCS and Air.

Yep. It's been awhile, so rewatching it feels relatively new.
Especially since I've never seen the dub. I hereby replace any derrogatory use of the word "cow" towards ample-chested females with "Buttercups".
And now I really miss how fanservice wasn't constantly thrown in your face.
I mean, it's definately there in Chrono, but the first panty shot you get is of woman's draws. As in, longjohns for the ladies.
I'm lovin' it.
