I like Magical Girl, but I'm really picky about it. I usually prefer magical girls that are teens or adults (Mahou no Mako-chan, Cutey Honey, Majokko Megu-chan, Devil Hunter Yohko, Sailor Moon, Revolutionary Girl Utena) because they try to work in more drama and there's usually more ecchi s**t. There's some younger, more sugary magical girls I'm interested in seeing as well though (Himitsu no Akko-chan, Mahou Tsukai Chappy, Miracle Shoujo Limit-chan, Majokko Tickle, Hana no ko LunLun, Magical Princess Minky Momo, Creamy Mami). I'm kind of strict about magical girls post-90's as well. I think that s**t like Mermaid Melody, Madoka, and Pretty Cure look stupid and I think the GAINAX-brand of magical girls are generic as hell.

I like Shoujo/Josei as well. My favorites so far have been Candy Candy and The Rose of Versailles. I prefer it when lots of people die in these series.

As a Go Nagai fan, I'm also a fan of Shonen/Seinen. Most of his works I either love or will probably love in the future. I also really like different superheroes spawned from this genre (I love superhero series).

I like other genres as well, but for me personally pretty much everything boils down to the last two categories anyway.

But anyway, I choosed the last option, because I'm a samurai nerd and Samurai Champloo is my favourite anime. I like seinen anime too.

Action adventure, fantasy, and sci fi. I can watch other things like comedies or dramas, but I feel like I need a certain level of quality with them. I'd need something along the lines of Sakamichi no Apollon for a show with no fantasy elements.
